Effective date: April 1, 2026
SafeSleep is built to keep things simple. The app does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers. Everything you enter stays on your device.
All data created in SafeSleep, including student names, dates of birth, sleep check logs, LIC 9227 records, and group configurations, is stored locally on your device using iOS on-device storage. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
SafeSleep does not collect:
SafeSleep does not use third-party services, ad networks, analytics platforms, or cloud storage providers. The app makes no network requests.
SafeSleep is used by childcare providers to document safe sleep checks for children. While the app may contain information about children, such as names and sleep check data, that information stays on the provider's device and is never transmitted elsewhere. SafeSleep complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by not collecting data from or about children online.
Because everything is stored locally, you stay in control of your data. You can delete individual records in the app, or remove all data by deleting the app from your device.
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date. If a future version of SafeSleep ever adds features involving data collection or transmission, this policy will be updated before those features are released.
